4A molecular sieve adsorbent is one of the most consumable molecular sieves types used in the gas and liquid drying industry, its selective adsorption to water is higher than any other molecule. molecular sieve 4A adsorbs water H₂O, methanol CH₃OH, ethanol C₂H₆O, hydrogen sulfide H₂S, sulfur dioxide SO₂, carbon dioxide CO₂, ethylene C₂H₄, propylene C₃H₆ and other molecules with diameters not more than 4Å. It’s usually used for gas and liquid drying but also for refining and purification of certain gases or liquids such as the production of argon gas.
